There’s a great new feature when using SMS appointment reminders where you can include a link at the bottom of the reminder that adds the appointment directly into your client’s calendar, either on their smartphone or desktop device.
This allows you to add extended information that appears in the calendar such as ‘parking at rear’ and provides a calendar reminder one hour before the appointment. Further, on supported devices you can also click the address to receive turn-by-turn directions to the practice.
No shows are an unnecessary loss of revenue for your practice. Using the Add to Calendar link provides an added measure to increase patient attendance rates.
