We are pleased to announce the following Pre-release upgrades for the Front Desk suite of products. Pre-release versions have gone through our full internal testing and quality assurance but limited or no external real-world live testing. Pre-release builds are made available for users wanting the most up-to-date features.

Front Desk® - Practice Management System v20.1.6

Front Desk v20.1.6 resolves issues with submitting Workcover Queensland claims and updates the format of the New Zealand ACC claim export. The following minor changes have also been added:

  • The group appointment export now includes patient email address

  • Added the fee category to the detailed Account Balance report export

  • Added the export option to the Interpractitioner report

  • The X-Ray report textbox is now resizeable

  • The Payment Transactions export now includes the full account name

Front Desk® – Patient Booking Gateway v7.1.0

We have added the ability for patients to open telehealth session links when logged into their accounts. When embedded in another webpage using a Smartsoft supplied URL (e.g. clinicname.appointment.mobi), visitors using the Safari web browser will now be redirected to the standalone Patient Booking Gateway site due to strict third-party cookie blocking in the latest versions of Safari.

Front Desk® – Web Appointment Book & Insights Dashboard v7.3.0

This version of the Web Appointment Book includes support for telehealth links. For full details, please see the telehealth setup guide.

Front Desk Insights Dashboard is an advanced reporting tool that allows you to monitor the health of your business using customisable widgets such as graphs, tables and KPIs. This application is available to Front Desk users at no cost and provides live business intelligence information, offering flexible feedback on day-to-day business operations.
